Guadalquivir Valley Region (Upper Guadalquivir)
A region located in the eastern sector of the province of Cordoba, where diversity makes the difference. It offers the landscape of the Sierra, which corresponds to the southern foothills of the Sierra Morena, the landscape of the Vega and the countryside.
The culture of the olive grove and olive oil has given rise to an indisputable tradition that can be seen in its museums, its farmhouses, its oil mills. This region has the Montoro-Adamuz olive oil DO.
The river Guadalquivir, the true protagonist, becomes a source of leisure and recreational activities. It has a rich natural area of incomparable beauty, the Cardeña-Montoro Park, where the authentic Iberian lynx can be found in part of its territory.
Villages that make up the region
