Our Land

Region of GUADAJOZ COUNTRYSIDE-EAST

Located between the south of the Alto Guadalquivir and the Sierras Subbéticas, it runs through thousand-year-old olive groves. It is crossed from east to west by the river Guadajoz, which gives it its name.

The culture of the olive grove and the extraordinary olive oil, with Baena’s DO, make up a large part of its landscape, its tradition and its tourist offer.

A land of olive wood craftsmanship, unique in the province, where Holy Week and the Drum are lived with a fervour that is contagious to all who visit.

A region of castles that defy the passage of time. The “Mozarabic Way” and other tourist routes run through it, allowing the traveller to get to know the culture, gastronomy and traditions of these villages in a special way.
