Alúa is a company based on active tourism that is currently a reference in the Motivational and Experiences Tourism sector.

Created by three young people passionate about adventure and nature, who wanted to transmit and reach people all the experience they had been getting over the years. Alúa was born in Zuheros, one of the most beautiful towns in the province of Córdoba, and is currently located in the heart of Subbético, with facilities in Iznájar.

Alúa’s professional team strives every year to carry out its activities in line with Corporate Social Responsibility.

The main areas of work are Active Tourism, Ecotourism, Accommodation and Catering. Specialized in the management of leisure, accommodation and catering facilities, as well as in the organization of events with companies, agencies, adventure activities, school groups, group trips, summer camps, etc.

One of the fastest growing areas in recent years is the Training School, where courses and specialized technical training are developed in the sports sector, active and experiential tourism, training each year people who enjoy this job.

Alúa’s adventure activities

Alúa has multiple activities, you can book the ones you most want to do and varying between the different modalities::

• Water activities: Rafting, Family Rafting, Paddle Surf (board rental), Kayak (rental, initiation baptism, guided tour), Canyoning (Río Verde and Sima del Diablo), Sailing and Big SUP.
• Multi-adventures: Arborism, Zip Line, Climbing Wall, Paintball Kids, Balloon Ride, Via Ferrata (Alcalá la Real, Archidona, Ronda and Zuheros)
• Bachelor party: the best option if you want your bachelor party to be original and unforgettable. An adrenaline experience in the middle of nature, where you can enjoy an incredible party with activities to choose from and accommodation. The activities to be carried out can be: “Multiadventure Activities” (Arboreal Park – Climbing Wall – Archery – Hiking – Paintball) or “Nautical Activities (Kayak – Paddle Surf – Rafting)..

Summer Camp Alúa

Another star service of Alúa is the Camp, a service for children between 7-11 years old. The Alúa Summer Camp has its own facilities located in the middle of nature, with enormous beauty and direct contact with the natural setting.

You will enjoy a few days full of fun, rural, aquatic and multi-adventure activities, group cohesion and academic activities adapted to the age of each one.

Rural tourism is also done in the province of Córdoba, getting to know typical towns of the area, beaches, workshops and night evenings that will make the camp an unforgettable experience..

It takes place at the Iznájar Nautical School Hostel, with all the following services included:

• Full board (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner).
• Individual rooms or shared with siblings or friends (parental consent).
• COVID-19 action protocols updated in facilities, materials and activities.
• Sports activities: Rafting, Rappelling, Climbing (Climbing Wall), Paintball, Arboreal Park, Orientation, Raid Adventure with tests, Relay Gymkhana with Paintball shooting, Archery, Interpretive hiking, Kayaking in calm waters, Dinghy sailing, Paddle surfing, Evening evenings, Thematic workshops, Cooperative games, T-shirt customization workshop …
• Qualified monitors for each group of 10 children and Specialist Technicians in each sporting activity.

Alúa Rural House Hostel

There is the possibility of booking accommodation with the company. It has the Casa Rural Alúa Hostel, located on Valdearenas Beach, on the shores of the Iznájar Reservoir (Córdoba). A special and charming place to disconnect in the largest reservoir in Andalusia.

The house has 44 hostel-type beds in bunk rooms and a separate room for teachers and monitors.

The hostel has 6 rooms, multipurpose room, tennis court, bounded pine forest area, paddle tennis courts, athletics tracks, miniature golf, swimming pool (only available in the summer season).

All this next to the natural beach of the Iznájar reservoir, where there is the possibility of carrying out any type of aquatic activity. In case the group is very large, Alúa has an annex campsite where the places can be expanded, offering wooden bungalows to sleep.

Field trips and school trips

If you are thinking of taking a school trip or excursions, Alúa designs the program and the tailor-made excursion, whether for schools, institutes, training cycles or other groups, adapting to the contents, students and ages of the group.

The trip will combine cultural activities and multi-adventures in a unique environment, they will be able to discover unknown places and enjoy all the activities.

As already mentioned, Alúa has a Training School with different alternatives:

• Professional Training: Technician in Conducting Activities in the Natural Environment (TECO) and Senior Technician in Teaching and Socio-Sports Animation (TSEAS).
• Sports Technician (TD): TD Medium Grade Whitewater Canoeing, TD Medium Grade Calm Water Canoeing, TD Rescue and Lifeguard.
• Free Time School: Director of Activities in Children and Youth Free Time and Monitor / a of Activities in Children and Youth Free Time.
• Rescue3 and SOS: SRT (Whitewater and Flood Rescue Technician), RVW (Vehicle rescue in whitewater courses), WRT-PRO (Whitewater Rescue Technician for adventure activities professionals), First aid.
• Active Tourism: Rafting Guide Course, Kyak Initiation Baptism Course, Canoeing Initiation Course, Paintball Monitor.
• Guided activities: Pilates, Musical Fitness.
